Welcome to Blu Oasis. As fellow enthusiasts, we want you to enjoy your stay here and want you to feel free to voice your opinion about anything you’d like. To ensure that everyone can have equal enjoyment of the forum, the following forum rules have been established.
Rules for Blu Oasis:
Please no politics, religion, "sex" topics.
No Flaming or inciting others to flame you and/or another poster.
- A "flame" is when you insult someone, or a group of people. Use common courtesy. Use common sense. Treat others the way you want to be treated. This rule pertains to the ENTIRE community and includes the following kinds of insults:
- Racial slurs
- Hate speech
- Religion
- Sex
- Sexual preference
- Ethnicity
- Nationality
NO SPAM
- Spam is highly subjective and discretionary. Some examples of spam include:
- Double/Triple posting (* see below)
- Useless posts
- Registering just to promote your site.
- Starting redundant threads.
- Short answers agreeing or disagreeing with someone yet posting no actual opinion.
- Post whoring to increase post count. (There are exceptions to this rule, such as if you quote the user in question, then it is acceptable in agreeing only.)
- Spamming also includes using the Private Messaging System
- * If a thread hasn’t been responded to within 24 hours after your last post, then you are free to double post. If it’s been less than 24 hours, then simply EDIT your post, that’s why the edit button is there, UNLESS it is something important and the thread needs to be bumped. No, asking someone to reply to your last comment is not important.
NO ADVERTISING
-Advertising websites are not allowed in posts or new threads. This is called “site whoring.” This rule applies on the boards and the Personal Messaging system. If caught or reported, the offender will be permanently banned.
IMAGES
- You are allowed to use images in any of your posts here in the Network Forums. All images are allowed, with the exception being anything related to the following:
- Pornography (Hardcore, softcore, drawings, links, nudity of any kind etc.)
- Gross out pictures (Vomit, feces, death, gore, etc.)
- Sacrilegious (Christian, Jewish, Islam, or any other Religion)
- Racial
- Signatures must not contain any of the above; see also rules for advertising above.
Avatars with nudity or offending content (racism, offensive towards religion, criminal behavior, vulgarity, profanity, etc.) will be removed. Simply put: Forum rules apply to avatars, images, and signatures.
SPOILERS:
- If you want to post a spoiler of any kind here then make sure you at least add the word SPOILER to your thread title or use spoilers tags or BBCode if available. That way, if someone wants to be un-spoiled they can choose not to open the topic. We don't mind spoilers being posted but remember, name them!
PLAGIARISM:

Any plagiarism will result in a permanent ban.
MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS:
- If you create multiple accounts on the board, they will be discovered, wiped out, and the offender will be permanently banned.
AGE LIMIT RULE:
- The Blu Oasis Forums do NOT use COPPA forms during the registration process. As a result of this, in terms with rules of the TOS, no persons under the age of 13 will be allowed to become a member of this message board. If you are under 13, please do not sign up here, wait until you turn 13. Any persons under the age of 13 that are discovered will be permanently banned. |
